Sebastien made his National Hockey League debut on March 6, 2002 in Detroit, when Toronto starter Corey Schwab was pulled after allowing three goals (on thirteen shots) in the first period. He played the final two periods, seeing twelve shots and allowing goals to Igor Larionov, Sergei Fedorov and Sean Avery.
