FIRSTS:

Sebastien made his long-awaited National Hockey League debut on Friday, April 12, 2002, in Buffalo against the Sabres. He made it worth the wait, though, stopping thirty-eight of thirty-nine Buffalo shots in a 3-1 Washington victory, allowing only a redirection from Miroslav Satan to get by him. "It's awesome," Charpentier said. "I've been on the phone all day yesterday and I'll be on the phone tonight. It's a dream. Playing in the NHL is a great experience. I'm really happy."
