WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING:
"Nimble Reinhard Divis, an Austrian-born veteran of the Swedish Elite League,
impressed in camp and could be step up later this season if needed."
(The Sporting News Online, October 2, 2001)
"A 30-year-old netminder from Austria, Divis spent some time toiling back home
during the lockout. He has shown a lot of ability in his 16-game NHL trial, but
is not a lock to earn the backup job to Patrick Lalime
in 2005-06. Instead, Divis will compete with Curtis Sanford
and Jason Bacashihua at training camp."
(The Sports Forecaster 2005-06, p. 100)

- Re-signed with St. Louis, June 30, 2003.
- Re-signed by St. Louis, June 29, 2004.

ACCOLADES:
INJURIES:
FIRSTS:
- Reinhard made his National Hockey League debut on April 7, 2002, as the St. Louis Blues faced the Colorado Avalanche. The Blues' top goaltender,
Brent Johnson, was sidelined with a sore hip flexor, so the club called up Divis from AHL Worcester to back up
Fred Brathwaite. After Brathwaite yielded three goals on eleven shots, including a goal from Colorado's side of the ice, coach
Joel Quenneville inserted Divis, who stopped all four shots he faced before being pulled for an extra attacker.
- Reinhard made his National Hockey League postseason debut on April 10, 2004 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose as his Blues took on the hometown
Sharks. St. Louis starter Chris Osgood was forced from the game with a knee injury early in the third period, and Divis
entered the game. Reinhard stopped all eight shots he faced, but it was in vain as the Blues fell, 3-1.
PENALTY SHOTS:
- Allowed penalty shot goal (Wes Walz), February 2, 2004.
- Stopped penalty shot (Marian Gaborik), April 4, 2004.
NHL SHOOTOUTS:
- April 4, 2006 - lost to Minnesota, 1-2 (Mikko Koivu goal, Marian Gaborik save, Brian Rolston goal).
- 2005-06 season to date: 0 wins, 1 loss, 1 save on 3 chances.
