Wade was the goaltender for the Manitoba Moose on December 9, 2005, when they defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 3-1, at Wachovia Arena. The loss was the first regulation loss of the season for the Penguins, who had earned points in their first twenty-three games of the season.
