FIRSTS:

Jimmy made his National Hockey League debut on November 28, 2005, at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Howard's Detroit Red Wings squared off against the hometown Los Angeles Kings, and Jimmy was up to the task, stopping twenty-two shots in a 5-2 victory, his first. Joe Corvo scored the first goal on Howard, on a penalty shot, to tie the game at one, but the Wings rattled off four straight goals to build a 5-1 lead before Sean Avery scored late.
