Suffered knee injury; missed first eighteen games of season and assigned to Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) for conditioning, September 28, 2005.

FIRSTS:

Cristobal made his National Hockey League debut on Saturday, February 20, 2003, when the Los Angeles Kings visited the First Union Center and the Philadelphia Flyers. Recalled from the AHL due to Felix Potvin's injury, Huet was backing up Jamie Storr, but the Kings found themselves trailing Roman Cechmanek's Flyers by a 2-0 count after two periods. Kings' coach Andy Murray put Huet in: "We were doing two things...we were trying to change the way the game was going by putting a new goaltender in. Sometimes your team snaps to attention when you put a different guy in there. By the same token, it was an opportunity to give Cris a chance to play." Huet made ten saves on twelve third-period Flyers' shots, who eventually succumbed, 5-0, on an empty-net goal.
