Selected by Toronto Maple Leafs in fifth round (fifth Leafs choice, 85th overall) during NHL Amateur Draft, 1974.
Traded by Maple Leafs (with third-round choice (Torrie Robertson) in 1980 entry draft) to Washington Capitals for Robert Picard, Tim Coulis and Washington's second-round choice (Bob McGill) in 1980 entry draft, June 11, 1980.
Traded by Capitals to Toronto Maple Leafs for cash, September 9, 1982.
Named goaltender coach, New York Islanders, January 17, 2001.
