Suffered concussion when his head struck goalmouth crossbar during third-period goalmouth pileup vs. St. Louis, November 3, 1983.
Suffered whiplash injury, March 1, 1984.
Sprained left ankle during Team Canada practice in Canada Cup tournament, September 17, 1984.
Left game with injury, October 19, 1984.
Injured hand, December 6, 1984. Peeters injured the hand while stopping a Larry Robinson shot with 1:07 remaining in the game, and was replaced by Don Sylvestri in the Boston net.

Pete was ejected from the March 4, 1984 Boston contest in Hartford. What was unusual about this? He was the backup goaltender at the time.
When Pete won the Vezina Trophy in 1983, he was the first Boston goaltender to capture the award since Hall-of-Famer Frank Brimsek.
In 1984, Pete was the goaltender in net when Mario Lemieux scored a goal on the first shift (and first shot) of his National Hockey League career.
In his youth, Pete was a competitive swimmer.
