RECORDS:
- In 1952, with the Detroit Red Wings, Terry became the fifth National
Hockey League goaltender to record four
shutouts in one postseason. The Wings went 8-0 in the 1952 Stanley Cup
Finals, allowing just five goals in total.

- On March 4, 1967, Terry became the first goaltender in the history of the National
Hockey League to record one hundred regular-season shutouts.
