• Daniel made his National Hockey League debut on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The eleventh goaltender used by the Los Angeles Kings since the start of 2006-07, Taylor replaced starter Erik Ersberg at the start of the third period with the Kings trailing Dallas by a 5-1 margin. Taylor allowed a goal to Jere Lehtinen on the first shot he faced, but settled down to allow two goals on ten shots in the 7-2 defeat.
